Stephen Lankton, MSW, DAHB, trained under Milton H. Erickson, M.D. from 1975 to 1979, and his efforts at promoting and interpreting Erickson’s approach to hypnosis and therapy at the highest academic levels resulted in the inclusion of chapters in several scholarly publications edited by other luminaries in the field. He is a LCSW psychotherapist in a private practice in Phoenix, Arizona, Lankton conducts workshops internationally (24 countries).

Erving Polster, Ph.D in clinical psychology, is the Director of The Gestalt Institute of San Diego, and the author of several important books, including Gestalt Therapy Integrated, Every Person's Life is Worth a Novel, and From the Radical Center: The Heart of Gestalt Therapy, as well as dozens of articles and chapters. Erving has authored 6 books. In his current writings, he offers perspectives and designs for a communal application of psychotherapy principles. He also describes and celebrates a powerful contemporary momentum for people-at-large to join together in the search for personal and social enlightenment.


Frances Vaughan, PhD's Profile

Psychologist practicing in Mill Valley and author of many articles and several books integrating psychological health with spiritual growth. Her books include: Shadows of the Sacred: Seeing Through Spiritual Illusions; The Inward Arc: Healing in Psychotherapy and Spirituality; and Awakening Intuition. She has served as president of the Association for Transpersonal and Humanistic Psychology, and was formerly on the clinical faculty at the University of California, Irvine. She is currently a trustee of the Fetzer Institute, a philanthropic foundation supporting research and education in mind-body-spirit health, and core faculty for the Alaya Institute end-of-life counselor training program. She is an internationally known educator in transpersonal psychology and was a pioneer in this field.
