Skilled brief therapists just ask miracle questions or scaling questions. They must know how to ask questions in ways that do not undermine client motivation.

Educational Objectives:

  1. To describe the differences between first and third person questions.
  2. To describe how to ask questions that open space for clients to respond.

He is the author of five books and various professional articles. Mr. de Shazer is on the editorial boards of various journals and has presented, trained and consulted widely in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
