Description

Description:

Our demonstration subject for Class 2 is a psychiatrist who would like to become a better leader, specifically by becoming more assertive when creating treatment plans. Dr. Zeig outlines three core elements contributing to the perceived lack of assertiveness - feeling composed, being appeasing, and being conflict avoidant. Dr. Zeig demonstrates the power of improvisational acting and jumps into action, guiding the subject towards his goal by using age regression, as well as signifying gestures and physical posturing to alter the subject’s mental state. We follow up with this client in Class 3 where our subject revealed he felt much more free, not only as a therapist but also in his personal life.
