Description

Description: Adolescent trauma often leaves girls feeling fragmented, invisible, and cut off from their own bodies. This workshop offers practical ways to rebuild connection through relationship, grounding strategies, metaphor, energy work, and Ericksonian imagery. Blending neurobiology, affect regulation, and creative interventions, it shows how to help girls transform coping behaviors into strengths and reclaim a coherent, embodied sense of self within safe connection.

Educational Objectives:

  1. To describe adolescent female manifestation of trauma.
  2. Given an adolescent girl experiencing trauma, list three skills to facilitate a healthy mind/body connection.
