Description

Description: This short course offers an empathetic look at the emotional upheaval of infertility and how hypnosis can help clients reclaim a sense of self in the midst of it. Helen Adrienne explains why the crisis feels like a nonstop storm, then demonstrates how trance, breath, metaphor and mindful slowing can create an “inner oasis” where clients can think clearly, calm their physiology and make choices with more steadiness. Participants learn practical language tools, supportive framings and experiential strategies to help individuals and couples navigate treatment, reduce overwhelm and reconnect with resilience.

Syllabus Description: Almost 20% of people of a child-bearing age suffer with infertility. Hypnotic interventions are a powerful short-cut to treatment. Attendees will learn how to use creative thinking and hypnotic protocols to develop personalized scripts to use with clients.

Educational Objectives:

  1. To describe how to develop effective hypnotic techniques for infertility patients.
  2. To describe the profile of infertility.
