Description

Description: Explore the therapeutic power of storytelling in Ericksonian psychotherapy and how stories can communicate meaningful change while bypassing resistance. Through demonstrations and exercises, the session illustrates how metaphor, “specific generalities,” and naturalistic trance can help clients access unconscious resources, expand options, and reframe difficult experiences. Participants practice crafting and delivering stories that carry therapeutic messages without direct confrontation, learning how storytelling can evoke insight, emotional shifts, and new possibilities in treatment.
