Working with children requires adaptations of techniques that depend on language skills. This workshop will describe useful language techniques that help to work with children briefly.
Educational Objectives:
- To describe two ways to learn from children's resources and existing skills.
- To name three therapy tools to engage, find solutions and empower children.

INSOO KIM BERG, MSSW, is co-developer of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Director of the Brief Family Therapy Center in Milwaukee, Wise.
