Description

This workshop will focus on themes of love and dependence, love and anxiety, love and power in exploring how the interplay of these factors govern whether an intimate relationship thrives or fails. The importance of these themes for both individual and couples therapy.

Learning Objectives

  1. To explore the developmental history that makes our loving almost inevitably accompanied by anxiety.
  2. How intolerance of each other's freedom can turn love into a power politics of who is in control.
  3. Deepen understanding of the complex relationships between "I" and "We."
