Description

This presentation will use a Constructive Narrative strengths -based treatment approach for individuals with PTSD and co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse disorders, depression and suicidality.

Learning Objectives

  1. To discuss what distinguishes the 75 % who evidence resilience VERSUS the 25 % who develop PTSD and related psychiatric disorders.
  2. How to implement the core tasks of psychotherapy in an integrated manner.
  3. How to increase the likelihood of achieving lasting behavioral changes in clients.
