Description: This workshop offers a hands-on way of working with stuckness through clients’ own metaphors of movement, space, and direction. By carefully exploring sensory detail and letting solutions emerge from within the image itself, it shows how perspective, grounding, and small shifts can open new paths forward without analysis, interpretation, or advice
Syllabus Description: When people feel “stuck,” they often describe it metaphorically—being “blocked,” “in quicksand up to my neck,” “beating my head against a wall,” “in the pit of despair,” etc. Andrew T. Austin (author of The Rainbow Machine) has discovered how metaphors can be used to clarify and resolve the problem.
