Volunteer Registration for Anxiety and Depression Conference 2024

 

Cancelation Policy:
Cancelation notice must be submitted by August 23rd. All cancelations must be in writing and there will be a $25 administrative charge for each cancelation. Cancelations received that are NOT postmarked by Friday, August 23rd, will NOT be eligible for a refund. You must notify the Foundation of any changes by emailing support@erickson-foundation.org or calling 602-956-6196.

 

The Responsibilities: Volunteers will be assigned on a random basis to sessions. You will NOT be able to choose the sessions for which you are assigned; however, when not assigned, you may attend any session you like. You will be creating questions with answers to be used later as self study. You will be scheduled to work approximately two to four hours per day, during the morning and afternoons. Please check the online schedule here before registering as a volunteer to make sure you can volunteer during those times and days. You must have open availability throughout the Main Conference (September 14 - 15th).

You will be able to claim credit toward a Certificate of Attendance stating your hours for all sessions worked and attended!

The Requirements: Volunteers should be able to understand and communicate in English and have legible handwriting.

If you cannot commit to the requirements/responsibilities, you will not be able to volunteer, but you may sign up as an attendee.

The Cost: The cost of attending Anxiety and Depression Conference 2024 as a volunteer is $25.00. You will be refunded $75 of the original deposit ($100) after you have successfully completed your volunteer duties as assigned. Refunds will be mailed to you 4-6 weeks after completion of the Conference.

Lilian Borges, MA, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with more than 18 years of experience doing and teaching psychotherapy, Ericksonian hypnosis and brief therapy. She is an invited teacher at the Milton Erickson Foundation for their extensive hypnosis training programs. CAMILLO LORIEDO, MD PhD, is professor of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University of Rome, School of Medicine and the School of Specialization. Since 1998, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Milton Erickson Foundation. He has recently been elected President of the Italian Society of Psychotherapy. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. Loriedo has been awarded the Milton H. Erickson Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contributions to the field of Psychotherapy. He has authored over 350 scientific papers and 26 books.

Lynn Lyons, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist who lives in Concord, New Hampshire and is in private practice there. For 26 years, Lynn has specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders in adults and children. Lynn received her BA in English from Williams College in 1987, her Masters in Social Work from Boston University in 1990, and has been training extensively with the world’s experts in clinical hypnosis and strategic therapy since 1993.
