Description

Description:

Effective cognitive behavioral therapy of panic disorder is a straightforward, three stage process. However, therapists can get mired in common traps including therapist beliefs and fears that block success. Through humor and guided exercises, Padesky shows therapists how to treat panic without panicking oneself. This workshop includes guided practice of induction experiments.

Educational Objectives:

  1. To describe the three steps of effective CBT treatment for panic disorder.
  2. To describe induction methods for common symptoms associated with panic disorder.
